Our Leaders
Prophet Joel Gawanab is the founder and spiritual leader of Trust God Ministries Walvis Bay.
Driven by a deep passion for seeing people encounter God personally, Prophet Joel is known for his prophetic teaching, fervent heart for intercession, and steadfast commitment to discipling believers to walk in faith, freedom, and purpose.
Over the years, his ministry has touched countless lives — inspiring many to trust God fully, live boldly in their calling, and serve selflessly in the body of Christ.
His vision is rooted in seeing not just individual transformation, but whole families and communities restored through the power of the Gospel.
Beyond the pulpit, Prophet Joel is a devoted family man. He is joyfully married to Miriam Gawanab, his partner in life and ministry. Together, they have been married for 16 years and are blessed with seven wonderful children — three boys and four girls. Their home is built on faith, love, and a shared commitment to serving God and others.
Through both his personal life and public ministry, Prophet Joel continues to embody and proclaim the message that lies at the heart of Trust God Ministries:
